Online Therapy · McLean & Arlington, VA
Evidence-based online care for OCD, anxiety, trauma, and relationships, serving McLean, Arlington, Great Falls, Falls Church, Vienna, and the Virginia side of the DC metro.
Specialist Care
Northern Virginia runs on responsibility: federal service, national security, law, consulting, and the military. People here carry weight they often cannot talk about at work, and worry, more than most, about privacy. My practice is private-pay and fully confidential, with over a decade of experience serving active-duty military, veterans, and their families.
Anxiety, burnout, and perfectionism in careers where mistakes feel unaffordable. Therapy is a place to set the weight down, confidentially.
Combat trauma, moral injury, deployment strain, and transitions, treated by a therapist with dedicated military and veteran experience, including certified EMDR for PTSD.
Certified ERP for checking, contamination, moral and religious scrupulosity, and intrusive thoughts, about 60% of my practice.
Licensed in Virginia. I hold an active Virginia LMFT license (Virginia LMFT #0717002286), so we can work together from anywhere in the state. You simply need to be physically located in Virginia at the time of each session.
Hours that fit McLean & Arlington schedules. Weekday, evening, and weekend appointments are available, so therapy fits around your work and family life instead of competing with it.
Secure video, real connection. Sessions run through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Research consistently shows that video-delivered therapy, including ERP and EMDR, works as well as in-person care.
I work with clients across Northern Virginia, McLean, Arlington, Great Falls, Vienna, Falls Church, Alexandria, and Reston, under my Virginia LMFT license. Sessions must take place while you are physically in Virginia (or another state where I am licensed: CA, OR, TX, NV, AZ).
Beyond my OCD specialty, I work with anxiety and panic, depression, trauma and PTSD (certified EMDR therapist), couples and relationship issues (Gottman Level II), sex therapy, burnout, and more.

Common Questions
Many Northern Virginia clients choose private pay deliberately: no insurance network is involved, no diagnosis is required for care, and records stay between us within the limits of the law. I provide superbills only if you request them.
For most people, no, and current federal guidance (SF-86 Question 21) explicitly treats seeking mental health care as a positive step, with broad exemptions for counseling related to marriage, family, grief, and adjustment. I cannot give clearance advice, but I am familiar with the concern and happy to discuss it in your consultation.
Yes. Dedicated work with active-duty personnel, veterans, and military families, including trauma, transitions, and couples repair, has been a significant part of my career.
